Quartz

Quartz

Natural quartz is one of the most durable surfaces due to its 93% quartz composition. In addition to it’s durability, quartz is a luxurious, high performing surface that is very low maintenance. Quartz is also safer than other surfaces because it is nonporous and nonabsorbent. This means it won’t draw in moisture from raw foods that can cause harmful bacteria. It gives off zero emissions, and no radon. There is no safer stone surface for food preparation, period. Because quartz countertops are engineered, they come in a wider variety of colors and patterns. This gives you several more options for your future surface, whether it’s for kitchen countertops, bathroom countertops or any other area. Manufacturing a luxury product requires the use of a high-end process; therefore, we have invested heavily in our North American facilities’ technology to ensure appearances and colors range from those that look like natural products to ones especially designed according to the requirements of architects and interior designers. Our unique manufacturing technology allows the combination of outstanding physical and mechanical characteristics with excellent aesthetic appeal. We source various types, sizes and colors of quartz crystals from around the world, which provide the desired hue, feel and design, and capture the spirit and essence of natural colors. Special aesthetics are achieved when the product is made with the addition of materials such as colored glass, mirrors, mother-of-pearl or small pieces of semi-precious stones such as lapis lazuli and amethyst. Furthermore, quartz is also considerably cheaper than granite and marble, thus making it a great choice for your budget. And we can’t forget the effortless cleaning solution of mild soap and water! It’s as simple as that! Unlike granite and marble, quartz doesn’t need periodic sealing, polishing or reconditioning. You won’t have to work with messy oils or dangerous chemicals—there’s no cost of upkeep for quartz once it’s installed. Perhaps one of the most important things to remember about our quartz is that it is manufactured using best environmental practices. During processing, 100 percent of the water used in Pelleco’s plant and fabrication facilities is recycled through a series of advanced settling and filtering techniques. All diamond-metal tooling is retooled and re-used. Scrap material is collected and used as road base material on local construction projects. To learn more about quartz and other surfaces, click here.
